Baby Shower at Work!

My work friends threw us a baby shower today! Shaun couldn't make it but I had a great time! Family is truly not only what you are born into, but the friends you make. The Museum is a big family and I am so glad to be a part of it! A big thank you to hosts Charlene, Stephanie, Aaron and Gretchen! You guys are the best!

It's a boy!

Here is the video from today's ultrasound! I'm having trouble with the first video uploading, so I'll keep trying but here is half of our appointment for now!

Today's Ultrasound

The following is a video from today's ultrasound at 12 weeks, 5 days! She labels it so you can see what you are looking at, turn your speakers up for the first 20 seconds or so and you can hear the heart beat! Enjoy!

This one shows the feet and when it gets to the colored part, that is the umbilical cord blood flow!

This one has some good profiles and body shots.

She bounces the wand on my belly in this one trying to get the baby to move to a new position. True to so far stubborn form, baby stayed put until she was done. Then promptly flipped over before the doctor came in for some more shots. She switches in this on to some 4D images in this one!

We're having a baby!

Dear Family & Friends:

We are pleased to share our joyous news with each of you: we are expecting our first child late in September. We are very excited and can’t wait for each of you to meet our precious bundle of joy! Here is a picture of the baby at 6 weeks and 4 days; we are 11 weeks and 6 days today! There is also a VERY short video done on the same day.
